She's attending one of their school activity wearing a purple spaghetti strap cocktail dress, but she's so conservative that she don't want to show her shoulder so I made an additional short pop sleeves bolero to terno the dress.
I just accessorized it with some beads and sequins.
I thought of putting some swarovski sew on crystals but I have no time to travel to Manila to buy.
How do you like it?

Dear Leny,
For me who doesn't know anything about dressmaking this dress looks like a miracle to make. Very pretty.
Hi Ida,
I'd learn dressmaking a lot from my grade 6 teacher in Home Economics subject. When I graduated in elementary (I was 12 yrs. old that time)my father gave me my very first sewing machine.
Since then I made my own dress and my mama's dress. And lot of doll dresses (oh haven't done yet with my doll collection posting, I almost forgot)
But year 2001 I took a formal dress making and curtain making lessons and graduated with honors..^__^..
But I never use it as a business, I sew only for our personal use and when my friends ask me to make for them, like the blue gown in my photo in "as a single parent" post.
It for my friend daughter's JS prom.
