Last, last week, my youngest daughter got sick. She had a flu. It was the 4th day already but still she had a high fever. I thought it was a H1N1 that stroke my child but it's not. My children are all healthy and it's very seldom that they got sick.
I just pretend that it just okey but I'm so worried and nervous but I can't show it to my children. They are my weakness and if ever something get wrong with them I'm really, really worried. And because I'm so worried I thought to call their father, just to let him know. But to my dis-appointment he never answered any of my calls in his mobile and landline. I even sent him a facsimile, but no response. So I regret so much that I called him, his useless.(But I never told this to my children, they might get hurt, hope they won't read this post.) I promise to myself, I would never ever call him again what ever happens for he don't even care anymore.
Back to my child, she's not so well yet but she attended to school already because she don't want to miss their first long exam for the school year. In her class she said there were 4 of them who got sick but they were all present that day even if they were all still not so well. She belongs to the highest section so the competition is so tight. She may not be the highest student but she don't want to be the lowest either.
Then the following week after checking the papers, she came home with the big smile saying "Mommy, my grades were still okey" . In 9 subjects -- 5-97%, 3-96% and 1-86%...... WHAT!!!!! 86%????? She used to get 100%, now no more 100% and got 86%, how come????
She said almost all of them got only 86% and below on this subject -Math. No body got 90% above. I ask why, 2nd yr.HS mathematics are almost equations only. I could still remember when I was in High School I was always exempted in Math exam. How come it's so hard for my child? Aaahh... I said may be the teacher is to blame, because it's all the whole class, not my child alone got that low grade in math. I should go to the faculty and to the dean to ask, just to chika chika to know why, not to blame so much and request to kick the teacher out, he he he...
Since Pre-Elem, my child always got medals and awards every year. When she graduated in Pre-elem(2001-2002), she's the over all 2nd Honor Student, then got 6 medals and awards when she finished her Elementary studies(2007-2008). But last year 1st yr. in HS, she got only one. But I was not dis-appointed because I'm not forcing my children. I want them to have freedom and enjoy their childhood.
At least they still maintaining their grades. They still got their 60% discount on their Tuition Fees(to my High School child and the one in College). It's a big help to my expenses. ^___^
And still I'm a proud Mommy, he he he he.
